Increase peace-of-mind knowing your budget for instrument upkeep is fixed, even if your instrument is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Once enrolled into the SpectraLab Tier 1 Service Contract, your instrument is protected with the knowledge that any problems will be addressed within 2 days* with all non-consumable parts and repair labour covered. In addition, one yearly preventative maintenance (PM) service is included to ensure your instrument is working in the best possible condition given the natural age of the unit.

The SpectraLab Scientific Tier 1 Service Contract provides non-consumable parts, repair labour, one annual PM, on-site support,** and ongoing, unlimited, remote technical support to troubleshoot any instrument problems. The Tier 1 Service Contract can be customized to meet your specific needs including upgrades to faster response times and adding an operational qualification (OQ)/performance qualification (PQ) or performance validation (PV) to the PM service.  We can support any brand and model of HPLC, UHPLC, FPLC, IC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, FTIR, UV/VIS, AAS, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS.
This service is available in English to Customers located in Canada and the United States of America, only.
Enrollment of instrument into a Tier 1 Service Contract conditional on passing a remote assessment.

Tier 1 Service Contract Includes:

  • Non-Consumable parts.
  • Unlimited repair labour.
  • Unlimited email technical support.
  • Unlimited telephone/videoconference support.
  • One preventive maintenance (PM) visit.
  • Response time within 2 business days.*
  • Priority scheduling (within 3 business days*) for on-site services.**
  • Preferred rates for on-site Travel when charged.**
  • Preferred rates for new instrument orders.

 

*Holidays and Weekends excluded. Business days are Monday through Friday between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
**One on-site repair visit included. Travel will be invoiced for additional on-site visits. Unlimited travel included for clients within 1 hr driving radius of Canadian office.

Our refurbished instruments are tested and repaired to meet factory specifications. We follow Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification protocols (IQ, PQ and OQ).

Warranty and Support
We offer warranty on all refurbished instruments. Warranty starts at 3 months, with the option to extend the period. While your instrument is on warranty, we will provide Email (support@spectralabsci.com) and phone support and troubleshooting if you require assistance. If there is ever anything wrong with the equipment, we will replace it. Warranty begins from the date your equipment is successfully delivered. Any issues that occur during warranty should be reported immediately, describing the issues in as much detail as possible. Do not attempt to repair the equipment or involve a 3rd party without our express permission – this will result in voiding our warranty.

We will match our warranty duration with our competitors.

Installation and Training
If you purchase equipment from Spectralab Scientific, we offer installation and familiarization by our service technicians for an additional fee. If the instrument is particularly complicated, we highly recommend this service. If you’ve purchased less-complex equipment from us that you would like to install yourself, we can provide Team Viewer, email, or telephone support for no additional cost.

Large Inventory
We have a large inventory of equipment, components and parts in stock. You can find all the equipment you need for you lab in our store, as well as mix and match components for your systems.

International Shipping
We have sufficient export experience, including professional packing and proper documentation. Complementary shipping and handling can be applied upon immediate purchase. We include customs fees, brokerage, and duties for shipping to the US.
