SDT 2960: The SDT 2960 combines two thermal analysis measurements in a single instrument, thus providing easier interpretation of results and improved productivity at an attractive cost. The SDT 2960’s exceptional TGA sensitivity, DSC sensitivity, and stable baseline over a wide temperature range result in unmatched versatility for the selection of materials and the prediction of product performance and in-use lifetime.
DSC A2920: The Autosampler accessory is designed to facilitate unattended evaluation of DSC samples, thereby increasing laboratory productivity and lowering operating costs. With the Autosampler (which accommodates up to 62 samples) and, autoanalysis software the operator can automate testing and analysis. The system is extremely versatile. The operator can choose from an unlimited number of experimental methods and analysis routines stored in memory. The resultant flexibility means that the samples being evaluated can all be different (ideal for use in a research & development laboratory) or the same (ideal for use in quality control).
TGA 2050: The TA Instruments TGA 2050 is based on a unique vertical balance/horizontal purge design and provides a series of features which make it ideal for laboratories that want a high quality TGA, but that have a limited budget. These include:
- Excellent TGA performance. The unit’s high sensitivity (0.2µg), high capacity (1g), and broad temperature range (ambient to 1000°C) are equivalent to specifications normally associated with expensive research-grade instruments. The TGA 2050 has many automated features such as automated sample pan loading which make it ideal for less experienced operators. Furthermore, its design makes for easy interfacing to evolved gas analysis techniques (e.g., mass spectroscopy or FTIR).
- Compact design which makes efficient use of valuable laboratory bench space.
- Modular design which provides a cost-effective initial system price, but still allows future expansion into other thermal analysis techniques if laboratory needs change.
- Complete applications and service support including a variety of training aids for new TGA users and immediate access to knowledgeable applications and service specialists by telephone.
TGA 2950: The TA Instruments TGA 2950 brings new levels of sensitivity, automation, ease-of-use, and flexibility to the technique of thermogravimetric analysis. The design and versatility of this plug-in module for the TA Instruments thermal analysis systems make the TGA 2950 a valuable, easy-to-use tool for the selection of materials and the prediction of a product’s performance and lifetime. Ultra-high sensitivity (0.1µg) and the ability to simultaneously generate a calibrated derivative assure accurate measurements and make possible the detection of even minor components in a compound. The addition of optional high resolution capability further enhances the analyzer’s quantitative accuracy and precision.
